The “Amangeldy” gas-field was discovered in 1975 and it’s located in the Moyinkum district of Zhambyl region of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 170 km from the city of Taraz. The exploitation was started in October 23, 2003.

CJSC “Amangeldy Gas” was created in August 2003. Under the terms of the “Agreement on bringing Operator” from August 15, 2003 with JSC “KazTransGas”, CJSC “Amangeldy Gas” is the operator for the operation and maintenance of facilities in the contract area, including gas condensate field “Amangeldy.” LLP “Amangeldy Gas” was established in August 25, 2005 by converting CJSC “Amangeldy Gas” and nowadays it is the successor of all of its rights and obligations. Since July 2012 LLP “Amangeldy Gas” is the subsoil user on the contract area.
